Responsible for the visual branding and marketing strategies of Direct Sales Jewelry company. Lead conceptual design and project management of the biyearly product catalog, including budgeting, sourcing vendors, art direction of photo shoots, model selection and styling. Oversaw copy and art team in creating various marketing materials for both print and web. Most recently executed a corporate rebrand, including establishing the voice and designing touch-points such as the corporate identity, packaging, marketing materials and social media visuals. Presented creative and marketing initiatives to audiences up to 1,200 sales representatives at annual company sponsored conventions.

2000-Present

Creator of a custom invitation design company, specializing in one-of-a-kind wedding invitations, party invitations and birth announcements. Works directly with clients to create a visual brand for their event.

Awards and Recognition:
Designer of invitation featured on NBC’s Today Show during the “Today Throws a Wedding” series. Chosen to compete against Crane & Co., Elum Designs and William Arthur. Voted “Audience Favorite” by Today Show viewers.

1999-2003

Served as Art Director for Kansas City based marketing and advertising agency that specializes in the hospitality industry. Responsible for generating and presenting strategically sound creative for clients such as Embassy Suites, Benchmark Hospitality, and Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. Projects included conception of advertising campaigns, direction of radio spots, brand identity, and adhering to and properly executing assignments based on client's brand standards guides.

PRODUCTION MANAGER, Trader Publishing Company

1998-1999

Responsible for all aspects of production for a weekly newsprint publication. Designed individual display advertisements and newspaper layout in a deadline driven work environment. Oversaw graphic designer.
